Every year the P.F.A. continues to fundraise for the school and children's benefit. Last year they purchased DSI's - enough for 1 class of children to use 1 each.

The PFA members work tirelessly to ensure that your children are provided with brilliant resources throughout the year.

You don't have to have a major role on the committee to be a member of the PFA.  They do occassionally ask for your support at events such as Christmas and Summer Fayres - these could not take place without extra adult support.

Many thanks go to the PFA for 30 Nintendo DSi's - that is enough for every child in a class to use during a lesson.  DSi's can be used for so much more than just playing games.  Eventually they will be set up so the children can access the internet and use sites such as google to research information etc.  They are ideal for PPA time as a choosing activity as well as guided reading sessions. Although we have 11 digital cameras in school the DSi's also have a camera facility which greatly enhances their use.

2 Wii consoles plus 2 Wii fit boards and software.  With a timetable set up hopefully the children will all be able to access the wiis for a very short period everyday - it will enable the children to improve their balance and co-ordination and of course they are a great source of fun!  It will also be possible to access the internet with the Wiis so we will be able to use BBCi Player to access recently aired educational programmes.

We are currently awaiting the delivery of 3 new TV's and DVD players -  a 50" plasma and 2 42" plasmas.
